01

What LinkedIn’s rules say

LinkedIn’s User Agreement (effective 3 November 2025) lists things members must not do. Two apply directly to services like ours. Members must not:

LinkedIn User AgreementSection 8.2

“Use bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access the Services, add or download contacts, send or redirect messages, create, comment on, like, share, or re-share posts, or otherwise drive inauthentic engagement.”

“Rent, lease, loan, trade, sell/re-sell or otherwise monetize the Services or related data or access to the same, without LinkedIn’s consent.”

LinkedIn’s help centre adds that members who use third-party automation tools “risk having their accounts restricted or shut down.”

02

What that means for you

Using GTME means using an automation tool on your account, which LinkedIn’s User Agreement doesn’t allow. LinkedIn can restrict or shut down accounts that do this, and we can’t prevent it. You decide whether to accept that risk.

03

The tool we use

We use a cloud-based sending tool with daily limits. Your operator loads the week’s invitations and messages into it, and it sends them from your account on the schedule we set.

04

What we control

Who does what

Pick one to bring its part of each commitment forward.

We can’t promise LinkedIn won’t restrict your account. What we control is how it’s used.

  1. 01

At most 100 invitations a week from your profile.

It’s a hard limit inside the sending tool, not a target. On an account that hasn’t sent before, the first week starts lower, at 50.

    WhoThe sending tool

  2. 02

Sent on weekdays, in your working hours.

Monday to Friday, inside the hours you tell us suit you. Nothing goes out on a weekend or in the middle of your night.

WhoYou set the hoursThe sending tool

  3. 03

    A person writes every message.

Your operator writes every invitation note and every message, in your own voice. No template, and nothing goes out that a person hasn’t written.

    WhoYour operator

  4. 04

We never ask for your password. You connect through the sending tool’s own login, and you can disconnect at any time.

Connecting does give the tool a working session on your account; that’s how it sends. Your operator works only inside the tool’s workspace, and every GTME account we use has two-factor sign-in switched on.

  5. 05

If LinkedIn restricts your account, we stop sending within 24 hours and tell you the same day.

We help you through LinkedIn’s verification steps, and we don’t restart sending until you tell us to.

    WhoYour operatorYou decide the restart

  6. 06

We post, like or comment from your profile only on Authority, and only what your operator wrote or chose. Never a bot.

On Starter and Signal, we only send invitations and messages: nothing else touches your profile.

    WhoYour operator

05

Who is responsible for what

It’s your account, and LinkedIn’s rules apply to you. We give no warranty against restriction, and you approve every product claim we make. Our liability is capped at the fees you paid in the previous 3 months.

06

Your prospects’ data

For prospect data in your account, you’re the controller and we’re the processor, under a data processing agreement. We keep one do-not-contact list for all clients, and you get an export within 14 days; we delete prospect data within 30 days after you leave. Email privacy@gtme.consulting if we contacted you for a client and you want to know what we hold.
